I was excited when I saw Toni's (Ravengirl) Ways to Use it Challenge today, because I love this technique! (straw blowing) I think it is one of my favorites, if not favorite!
I had this straw blown background already because I am always playing with it, and used it on my card. I stamped the image from watercolor trio on it. Then I had to put the butterfly where I did to cover up a boo-boo. It left a lot of space above the image, but I guess you get to see more of the straw blowing technique background that way. Last year I even made Christmas cards using this technique! Thank you Toni! TFL

So pretty Sharon! I think the straw blowing is close to my favourite too! And my grandson loves it too! Is the butterfly where the straw blowing is displayed? It's is very pretty.

Very pretty......and boo-boo's are only places for embellishments!

LOL, I knew (from the VSN) that you would certainly be up for this challenge. And I was glad that the VSN had given me some practice. What a beautifully soft background you created, a wonderful setting for the butterfly.

Beautiful card, Sharon! I haven't tried this but I love the background on your stamped image and it does even look like wind blowing. It's so soft and subtle!
