When I was making the MMTPT295 card with wisteria as the image, this idea came to my head. But how to make the wisteria look somewhat real. I tried it with the hearts right side up, but didn't like that as much as with the hearts upside down. The full hearts are adhered with dimensional adhesives, while the hearts folded in half are glued on (these are folded in half and glued). The branch is doubled for stability.
The cardstock I used for the flowers is a beautiful dp from SEI.
There's a lot of persnickety time involved in this cards making, but I'm happy with the end result!

Jennifer, I was flabbergasted when I saw this and before I read your description my brain was saying "How'd she do that!" This is SO imaginative and I love the effect you achieved by using all those tiny hearts. Kudos to you for shaping and folding those bazillion pieces!

GORGEOUS! Your method of creating the flowers is realistic and beautiful. The sponging of two colors on the sentiment circle really ties it all together.

Jennifer, your wisteria on the trellis is breath-taking. I can't imagine the time it took to do all the careful gluing...but, oh my, what gorgeous results. A VERY special card indeed.
