This week our cards are headed out to a fellow Teapotter and SCS'er, our own Kathleen Lammie! Kathleen has been and will be dealing with some major health issues, and is in need of cheer and our prayers.
There's a lot of sparkle on this card, all of it a reflection of Kathleen and her wonderful personality. Kathleen is as unique as the finest jewel.
Just as the sentiment says, this card is filled with warm thoughts and prayers for Kathleen!
I'm so disappointed with the photo of this card. There is so much more color in the bg, than what shows here. There are pinks, purples, and greens, that just don't show here. This won't be mailed until tomorrow (Tuesday), so maybe I can get a better photo!
I did try a new photo, but then something else wasn't right. So this is what it is for here.

Really a beautifully thought out card to reflect Kathleen's fine qualities, Jennifer. Love the warm colors and Kathleen will appreciate your warm and caring thoughts. Love the varied sparkle.

Jennifer, this is creativity at it's best! Love that color even though you say it did not photograph well! The gems are such a unique way to create an image. Beautifully done!

Oh my, this is so creative the way you built the bloom up with gems and card candy - gorgeous card for Kathleen, and I bet that bg is even more beautiful IRL!

loved reading your thoughts on this pretty card, Kathleen, indeed, is a sparkling force here on SCS. She's sure to feel
all the care that went into this card. I like how you did the
sentiment with the punched edge

I hope for your own satisfaction that you got a better picture - but that flower is so amazing that the background is definitely - well, background! But I can see some of the richness of it, especially in the sentiment panel. It reminds me of a beautiful wool jacquard jacket my mother used to have.
