It's time for a party, Jeans' granddaughter will be 3 tomorrow. Time to bring out the pink...and a cupcake! I couldn't help but chuckle when I spied this card cupcake wishin her gallery. The commentary got me and one of the reasons I just love this artist! Hope you'll read how her card came to be.
Now, I have broken most of the FS rules with this one...it sorta looks like a case...but then again, not.
I knew I would make an actual cupcake...so hence the dark chocolate bar that was consumed for want of a foil wrapper to use for the liner. It was carefully inked with Stazon Timber Brown. I stamped the Oxford Impressions image once on the pink bg and added the cake elements. The frosted top was done over 'l love you' DP from MME scraps. And over that, I used CTMH's alpha sketchy lowercase to spell out the birthday girls' name. CTMH's Birthday Celebrations Celebrate was inked down the side. The three candles are from a small Hero Art's set. I stamped them on a swirly pink dp and then light embossed. The flames are Stickles Stardust and they are popped above the frosting. I added a bit of pink foil scrap.
Jean, I could play in your gallery all day. There are so many cards I'd love to spin....
Thanks for stopping...have a wonderful day.

Oh you 'had' to eat the candy, did you?! What a cool way to get the cupcake wrapper! Love that idea a lot! I enjoyed reading how Jean's card came about also. How sweet this card is. I love it. Love being your neighbor to.

Sure you had to eat the chocolate - you couldn't just throw it away! I read Jean's "cupcake wishin" comments and it's a perfect example of what I said in the forum about her inventive titles. What a wonderful, fun card for a 3 year old!

There is always a smile when seeing your cards! The link to Jean's is a good read too! How funny that you had to eat chocolate. Love the cupcake for the little girl and I'm sure she will still be able to smell that sweet smell on the wrapper! Once again, Susan, you are SO inventive!

Now see!! That's what I am talkin' about!! You just have that great eclectic style of yours, Susan, and I would have definitely eaten the dark chocolate bar, but never would I have seen the potential of the foil wrapper that I would carelessly toss in the trash You don't need copics and it would drive you batty to watch me colour as it is unorthodox and time consuming the way that I go about it. You could probably crank out 3 or 4 cards in the time it takes me)) Such a birthday treat for wee Clare

Fun card! Love the way the cupcake looks - so whimsical and artsy like everything else you do. Such meaning behind everything too. Love it! Love how inspired you were in Jean's gallery. Hugz!
