All apart, this card was looking beautiful. Then at the very end when I glued or tried to glue on the vellum panel, it just about ended up in the trash. That would have been such a waste.....details...
Back to front: on the tall creme colored cs, I took a stencil and light molding paste. Set aside to dry.
Then I took a panel of white cs that I had gessoed and painted it with watered down acrylic paints. Set aside.
On white cs, I drew the image panel then put it under some vellum and retraced it. Colored it with Sharpie Markers, cut it out. Set aside.
Proceeded to glue it altogether. I think perhaps next time I try to glue vellum on something I will use "vellum" tape and not gel medium. That panel at first would not stick, then it stuck and started wrinkling like crazy. I smoothed it down as good as I could.
Guess this card will be going to my Sis. At least she will hopefully understand my dilemma and not be too critical. hehe !
Well, that's it for today. We had some crazy weather yesterday with funnel clouds and possibly a tornado. Today it clouded up, but I stayed ahead of the rain. Have a great evening all. TFL :0)
Hi Sis!....another card coming your way. You might start thinking I only send you the rejects. hehe

I don't see any reason to consider this a "reject' - I think it's great! Fun colors, fun techniques, and you're the only one who sees the flaws... Love it! I also really like that you drew this

Well let me tell you that from where I'm sitting all your angst is for nothing because I don't see any wrinkles from here! :-) I see some really glorious colour and an amazing poster-like sentiment. I need to have that hanging in my kitchen! I really like your frame, and the texture of your background panel. TFS

This card caught my eye in the thumbnails. When I took a closer look I see nothing wrong with it at all! The colors are gorgeous and as always I love your original artwork!
