Sabrina challenged us to use Dina's amazing idea/tutorial for piercing. Stamped the pears in an overlapping pattern in a still life design then pierced. Colored with studio pencils and chalks - disccovered that the chalks highlighted the piercing without obliterating the pattern. Matted with LSC-embossed Kiwi and Chocolate Chip. Stamped the sentiment, actually only a portion of the Verve Psalm. It is some of my favorite scripture, but by using only the first two words really makes you think about the whole verse more than just reading it. Added the ribbon & image and done.
Thanks Dina and Sabrina for inspiring us all. Thank you for looking and have a peaceful day.

What a clever and lovely still life, Marie. Perfect sentiment to go with it ;-).
I think that perhaps because we're really using the back of the pierced image it helps add definition. I found that on the whole it helped contain and spread my watercolours. Thank you for playing along.
