I am just skipping...finally a card where NOTHING went wrong. This is for the MIX 60 challenge to use words and the WT471 challenge to use buttons. I was experimenting with this technique to stamp with water based markers and then to use water and a tiny paint brush to create a watercolor look. I made the card and now I am going to look for a tutorial - just a little bit backwards today. Distressed all the edges and added a little crackel paint to the edges of the image panel. TFL, Francie

You certainly got a lovely watercolour look! I must try this; I've done both misting with markers, and stamping on misted watercolour paper, but if I'm understanding it right you stamped on dry paper and then drew the colour out with water.
I love the contrast between the striped buttons and the polka-dot ribbon.
And I'm glad to see you did find some unexpected crafting this week .

Francie this is gorgeous, I had a chuckle at your write up. I love that you work "backwards" ....we 29th of June babies tend to do that LOL. I must give this technique a go, it looks like a beautiful watercolour. Straight into My Favs.
