I used dp paper for the text and layered with a stencil. I sprayed with Tattered Angels glimmer mist.
The copper bird cage was cut from soft copper-.005 thick-36 gauge. It is K&S Engineering and ordered from Hobby Lobby. It cut and embossed this bird cage really well with my Grand Calibur. I tried a very intricate design and it did not cut much of the design.
The heat tool used was Makita industrial heat gun. I got some pretty blues, orange, and pink colors. The blue isn't showing on this piece..maybe a litte at the very tip of the cage.

Oh so pretty, Brenda. I really like this look and will have to give it a try. It's lovely on the birdcage and really gives an extra punch on mixed media - very nice card.
