congratulations Penny Ward on being todays featured stamper....I hope that you are enjoying all the cards made in your honour....when I saw this card called Gone Fishin' it reminded me that I needed a birthday card for my Hawaiian Godson who lives in Hilo Hawaii..thus this fishing card.... I just purchased this stamp last weekend when I went to our stamping convention....So, I thought it was a good time to ink it.... I tried to keep the same colour combo with the red/blue/green/ brown and yellow and the theme is the same.... However, I realize the card is different as far as layout.... I did print the sentiment directly onto the card which means "Happy Birthday" in Hawaiian... I also drew the little birds in the sky using my pitt artist pen....
Thanks for taking a peek... Hope you like it....

Your card has the same whimsical humor to it! How wonderful to use water color paper. FAB!

This is so cute! Love your little fisherman. Almost as much as I loved visiting Hawaii! Didn't have time to make it to Hilo, but I had the best time on Oahu.
