This week out cards are headed off to Kansas and the friend of Sherri (Ksnurse) . Harriet is a retired nurse and loves music, she plays the organ for her church, and loves to be around flowers, trees and even grass, but due to some recent injuries, she hasn't been able to do what she loves.
In come the Teapotters to brings some cheer!
This card front is cut to be a frame. I've cut another frame to place the leafy die cut between the two layers and for stability. There is music stamped on the back panel.
Today is the last day of winter, but here in California, spring has been here for awhile. I love to hear the birds singing, while trying to identify them by their song. There are robins, house finches, Phoebe's, sparrows, doves, brown towhee's and hummers (though the last two really don't have a song). The hummers are busy nesting, so you rarely see the males, but I do see the females. They come to eat, collect cotton, and bathe in our fountain, so sweet. Even the house finches have started their nesting. So as much as we need the rain here in California, this weather is sure beautiful.

Jennifer this is beautiful, I love the 3D layout. Your story is terrific, I feel like I am there watching the humming birds. Thanks for the bath tip, at the moment I look like a glow-in-the dark wrinkled prune LOL.

Please don't take your organs to heaven - heaven knows we need them here.

You've certainly captured a lovely spring outdoors feel with your openwork panel on this card. I so enjoyed reading your write-up, too. We've had plenty more birds visiting our feeders recently in their spring plumage, but a hawk has also decided that we provide a great drop-in canteen service :-(.

Oh, this is beautiful, Jennifer - I love the dimension with the musical score in the bg and the lovely greenery and flowers to the front - this is like a garden on a card! I spotted a finch in our garden a few days ago for the first time ever - usually the brightest one is a little European robin, but the yellow underside of this little creature really caught my eye!

Jennifer, The birds singing sounds good. They have only started here. Not very many yet. Been to cold for them.
This is just lovely. And I love butterflies, and this one added the perfect finish to your pretty flowers and background. Hugs my friend. pm'ed you.
