I used Diana's layout, but different stamps and sentiment, as I did not have the ones she used. I am not good at sponging scenes so this was a humbling experience for me, but I masked and sponged varying layers of mountains and background, and then used yellow ink to try to create sun rays all the way down. That didn't work and I have strange green spots, but oh well... that's why Diana is our FS, and not me! LOL!
The sentiment is from ODBD, a set that I gave the design concept for, knowing how much I always need these types of sentiments for the church rack and personal cards I send as well. It's called No Words. The image is from North Coast Creations and is called Find Beauty.
I added some gel pen highlights (from a pen that was working very blobby and almost out of ink) and then some diamond Stickles to give a little texture and interest, since my silhouettes are a bit more solid than Diana's.
Congratulations sweet Diana! I'm so happy for you to be honored and you have a truly truly beautiful gallery!!!

Eeeeek! What an amazing CASE, Grace! I love it - loved Diana's too! This is the most gorgeous, subtle rainbow effect and your silhouette flowers with white highlights are stunning! And do those white gel pens work any other way than half dried and wobbly?? Mine are like that for sure!

I know this card you cased. I have it in my favorites, but so far have chickened out to try it. Beautiful job with all the colors, drew my attention right away. Love your flowers for the silhouette too....I agree with that sentiment a great one to use...TFS..;0)
------------------------------ We as people are raindrops of colorful ink , falling down Crisp and Clear, each a different shade more vibrant then the last, but once we realize at the bottom of an endless abyss we all fall into the same inkpot forming one color, only then can we come together as one My son.
Not good at sponging? You must be your harshest critic because all I see is amazing! And love that the image goes beyond the strip like that... So beautiful and the sentiment is perfect for such a scene you've created. Thank you soooo much for casing me; such an honor!

What a remarkable card! It's beautiful! I love silhouette stamps especially of plants and grasses. The galleries have been full of rainbow effects this last week but I haven't seen one I like more than this. Wonderful sponging and a great CASE of Diana's card. I'm going to say it again; BEAUTIFUL!
