I LOVE working with green. It is about the only color that doesn't fight with itself. Blue, that's another story. Thanks Michelle for the fun challenge.......
I was inspired by something I saw on FB today. I love the look of stamping on script. So I ripped a page of an book out and off I went.
Then last night we had a thunder storm with lighting and heavy rain. I loved hearing that and slept like a baby. hehe We really are needing the rain so I decided to go with a rain theme on my card.
After stamping the images on the page, I colored them with the w/c pencils then went to work. When I returned I finished it all up. Sponged on the distress ink, ran a stabilo pencil around for shading, then ripped around the images.
Made a gelli print bg in "green", put my book page image on top, made the sentiment and popped it up. Done.
Well, hope you like my card today. Sure was fun making it. Have a great rest of the day and evening.....TFL :0)

I love the stamping on script too, but don't often do it. I love your shade or green - it's lush and spring like, one of the best types of green. I'm glad you guys got some much needed rain. We need someone to haul all of our snow away. It's going to create another great lake when it thaws. :>)

Charming card....as ever, Cathy. Good point about green....maybe that's why nature uses it as a neutral. : ) Love your rain theme...I saw on the news where CA was getting lots of rain(Don''t know if that is true of your area)
