Although difficult to see in the pic, there is a faint watercolor background behind the vellum - light coat of Eggplant and Celery. The tulips were stamped on vellum and then colored on the reverse side with markers - Celery, Wasabi, and Eggplant. My "embossing" for this challenge was done with black Stazon - hard to get a good black embossed image with black powder - black specs everywhere - do I still qualify?!?

What a lovely choice of colors for this card - the "less is more" theory certainly applies, and gives it such a nice soft look behind your tulips. Love the dotted BG too - great job!!

I don't see black specks (there are white ones on mine, I can tell you ;-))., I see a really lovely Spring card. Embossing and colouring on vellum gives such a lovely soft yet luxurious feel.
