For this week's blues-with-watercolors color challenge and serendipity squares challenge. I used this week's sketch for the layout.
I took my time with these challenges - The serendipity squares technique didn't gel in my head until I had some direction with the colors, and the colors didn't work until I had the sketch. Serendipity and patience: What a lesson!

It's amazing what a different impact the many various blue squares have. Maybe it's the joyful abandon of your image, but your one makes me think of swimming pools. I suspect that's also due to the swirls of colour behind your girl making me think of ripples - and the grid paper which is so like a pool mosaic.
I don't think your time-frame is too bad either, LOL. I'm still staring at the 6 pieces I made from Lydia's MIX challenge last week trying to see anything in any of them that I can make into a card!

Love the joyful abandon of your image! I'm a big fan of blues of all kinds (including musical) too. Congratulations on the gelling of multiple challenges. Worth taking some time for. Love your card!
