I made this little gift box for the cards I made using the OSW template found at Joyfully Made Designs. I really didn't have a template, but here it goes:
Paper size - 8" x 12".
Score on short side at 1" and 7".
Score on long side at 4", 5", 9 1/2", 10 1/2"
With the paper turned the long end towards you, using scissors, cut at 4" and 5". Cut only to the next score line, so it forms a little tab. Turn the paper around and do the same on the other side.
Turn the paper short end towards you so that the 10 1/2" score line is closest to you. Cut out the 1" x 1 1/2" piece between the 10 1/2" score line and the end of the paper on both sides.
With the short end still facing you, cut at the score line that is at 1" and 7" to the next score line, so that the cuts form tabs on either side of the box.
Embellish the box, fold and stick together with sticky strip. I used a small piece of Velcro to hold the box closed and then tied it with a ribbon. When I decide who will receive these cards, I will make a little gift tag for the box.
Hope the instructions make sense to you. I just drew out the pattern on the Stampin' Up grid paper, and then cut the box.
Thanks for looking!
