MIX55 calls for us to use something clear. Back in the HYCCT challenges last year, Shailiekat made some beautiful flowers out of acetate, and I've wanted to try that ever since, so this was a good opportunity. Hard to photograph, but fun to make!
I cut them from thin acetate, coloured them with alcohol inks and used a hot glue gun to hold them together after rolling.
Black base, then white card stamped with Swirl Lace in Shabby Shutters.
I embossed the Lacy Circle with SU's Square Lattice, and added my roses and some foliage, plus a few butterflies. The small ones are punched from a scrap of card done with the shaving foam technique.
I think this has too much - or not enough - but yesterday was not a good day and I don't think I can make this any better!
