This week we visited West Elm for the inspiration challenge. This is the photo I used: http://www.westelm.com/products/face...s-vases-d1949/
First I cut a large circle in the foiled cardstock. Then I embossed it. I cut a little off the top and a little more off the base to make more of a vase shape.
For the flowers, I stamped, colored and fussy cut two images. I added a little tag and sentiment to finish it.
One note, the foil does tend to split a little with the embossing. So I filled in with a Copic marker, going a little lighter in color.
Our snow is mostly melted, YAY! Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

Beautiful, Kathleen! Your vase is wonderful and your big flowers are so bright and cheerful! Good thinking w/ the marker...I've had to do that w/ the textured c/s..it also tends to split when embossed.
