We had a 75th birthday celebration to attend this past week and since the birthday boy was a hunting/fishing addict, I pulled out an old favorite to use : SU Noble Deer.
The deer image is stamped onto a wood veneer business card that I got from Lee Valley Tools. These are the nicest wood to stamp on. They are a perfect size to use as-is on a card, ink (Versafine Black Onyx here) doesn't bleed into surrounding areas and it doesn't need heat setting. If you decide to add color with tiny eye-makeup sponges, you definitely need to let the ink dry first, but other than that these business cards take ink like nobody's business! They are super fun to have in your stamping stash for use on masculine cards - if you have real wood on a card, you have a guaranteed man-pleaser.
Thanks for taking the time to look at my "man card"!
