A VERY belated tribute to Queen Robin from a couple of weeks ago. (stamperrobin) I LOVE her colorful and varied gallery and her work is all so inspiring. I picked this card: CC435 by Stamperrobin at Splitcoaststampers
I used the same background and a butterfly (her butterfly is stamped, mine is a die) and my card is all in ivory and no flowers. She added her delicious coloring to hers. We used a different die inside the oval as well.
This is also birthday card for my friend Nina. We are meeting next week with the die club group (we are both in it) to have a shared birthday lunch for both of us. Hers is the first of the month and mine is the last of the month and we are splitting the difference! Nina is beautiful and classy and 70 years young! She is a wonderful card maker and we have attended many card classes and other card functions together.
The Spellbinder die (A2 Filligree Delight) that is the main background is one I cut at our die club. The Memory Box oval die with the flourishes ( Memory Box Tiffany)is one I have had for a while and always loved and only used once! WHO knows WHY? The Memory Box butterfly (Darla)was embossed with the Cuttlebug heart folder and then I formed and used dimensionals to pop it up. The sentiment is Rubbernecker and stamped in SU Crumb Cake.
Thank you for taking a look!

Amazing what you can create with one color. The addition of the seed pearls and the embossing on the butterfly, oh, and the curved wings, make it extra special.
