Happy Tuesday everyone. I made this for a few challenges. Yesterday's teaparty challenge.
Our teaparty this week is for Sharon friend of Karen (Redbugdriver)

Sharon is a very giving person and has a hard time accepting. She will think she doesn't deserve to receive these cards, but she will appreciate every single one of them. Nothing comes easy for Sharon. She's recovering from her 14th surgery and it seems that not one that I know about has been easy. She had an 'easy' foot surgery and while in the recovery room, they got her up and she broke her other leg. She was in a rehab facility for 3 months! .
She only listens to Christian music, her favorite color is purple (she loves SU Elegant Eggplant), she's very proud of her 2 granddaughters, one plays volleyball on her college team. They live together in AZ. Sharon moved there in June last year to be with them. She is proud of her roses. She is retired from American Airlines (not a flight attendant). She enjoys reading, her Bible included. We did several Bible studies together. So Scripture would be welcomed.
And today's sketch challenge. Plus I made a dimensional banner.
I started off with Heidi Swapps butterfly and background stencil. I placed the butterfly reverse masked portion on a 5 1/2 inch square. sponged in the regal rose, rose red inks. Next I stamped the asian artistry grass and dragonflys onto the sponged butterfly. Next I placed the background stencil over top and sponged on the bashful blue and the regal rose. I coloured overtop of the butterfly with different copic markers to give it some dimension. I also drew in a line to seperate the top/bottom wings. And drew in the antennas. I cut the image up into squares - the sketch challenge worked well with this big image. Matted the squares with purple cardstock. Assembled card. Added the pearls. Made the sentiment banner. Sewed edges of card. Sprayed with pink and blue shimmer mist. Splattered some watered down silver acrylic paint over image. And painted silver painted around outside edges of card. Oh - and I used a white gel pen on the grass in the butterfly body and added silver stickles to the butterfly wings.
Hugs..Pat
