Well, I started this card fairly early Friday morning. I checked the challenges and embossed and colored this old but beautiful floral heart from PSX. I laid marker color onto the embossed lines and then pulled it into the image with a blender pen. I touched some of the flowers with shimmer
paint after it was done. I cut this out and then had to go to work. I usually have Friday's off, but we're a week out from Valentine's Day and the chocolate shop has much work for me anytime I can get in. I pack and package the wonderful chocolates that we sell and also man the front of the store. I had planned to just work a couple of hours, but it turned into a full day and well before I was ready to leave my boss started campaigning for us to go have a drink together, so a full day of work turned into several more hours. When I got home, I settled into my stamp room to figure out the rest of the card. I used an embossing folder to add some texture to a piece of Primrose Petals CS and found a lovely stamped piece of Lavendar Lace CS in my scrap pile I painted the raised embossing on the Primrose piece with some shimmer paint and then added some Raspberry Ripple ink to small areas to give it an aged feel. Than I sprinked on some pewter EP for a bit more distressed look. I used a variety of mediums so I think this qualifies for Friday's Mixability Challenge as well. And since I did a lot of coloring on the heart this also makes it work for Thursday's Ways to Use It Challenge. I know this probably seems like an unlikely color combo, but I kind of like it.
What do you think?

Awsome card. The large heart is beautiful - it looks like an enameled metal piece of jewlery. Love the colors you used and the variety of techniques that went into making thie card. Great job.
