Ky's fun challenge seemed open enough to incorporate a card to honor the talented Queen Robin (such a sweetie - great choice Trish!!). I started out inspired by her Tulip card, and randomly scribbled purple/blue/turquoise Gelatos on CS. Spritzed with water to blend, but the result was "meh." Used a toothbrush to spatter Gesso, but ended up with a blob larger than I would have liked. Blotted that with a tissue and (who knew??) found that gesso is the perfect solvent for Gelatos. Smeared a little more and blended the colors to a much softer look. Revisited Robin's gallery, having remembered a snowflake card just below the tulip and ended up casing this card: CAS SNOWING by Stamperrobin at Splitcoaststampers
Randomly painted down the middle of the panel with the three re-inkers and added salt to mimic the technique that Robin used on her card. When dry, stamped the snowflakes in gesso (I poured a little in the center of my plastic palatte, then stamped off until I got a clean image). The last two snowflakes I added glue to the gesso, then sprinkled glitter glass after stamping - mixed results here, needed to add more glue. Added some silver metallic rub.
Stamped the image in Nautical Blue and added direct-to-paper edging with Summer Sky. Added the ribbon and brad, then matted all with navy and mounted on a Wisteria card. PT -resting
Thanks for the fun challenge, Ky and enjoy your much-deserved reign Robin! Thank you all for looking and have a peaceful day.

I knew what card you were casing right off! Lovely colours and textures in your background. Thank you for the description. This is not a technique I have delved into but maybe some day! Lovely tribute to Robin! TFS

You ended up with a beautiful frosty card. I love your title - that's how I feel about a lot of my work, but in the end, the personality shines through. I love your card! Thanks for playing my challenge!
