This card is for my Uncle who has written four Western novels which are all published on-line. Since he was a boy, he has been an avid reader and fan of Western novels and movies. He has had a pretty intense medical situation over the last couple of yrs and is now recovering from some pretty intense surgery. It may take him a yr or more to recover d/t his medical situation. I have been sending him and my Aunt cards but I think this cowboy themed card will bring him a big smile.
I incorporated three challenges into my card today. Today's Mix53 to use 3 layers on your card. I used Gelatos, three inks, newsprint, natural papers, journal page paper, cork, burlap, etc. I think I've got the 3 layers covered. My card is also for today's F4A206 to use the word "love" on your card, as well as, yesterday's WT challenge to use a horse on your card. I enjoyed making this collage-style card as I haven't made one in a while.
Thank you for looking!

It really shows how much you enjoyed making this, Gabby! There are so many wonderful details in it. I always love book pages, but I think my favourite thing might be the way you have trees stamped on the green card you cut the treeline border from too. The cork looks pretty cool!

Oh Gabby, you have it all covered and then more! So many elements all adding up to a fabulous card that your uncle will love! I just bought a Zane Grey novel to read as my dad used to love them.
