This is OWH Sketch Challenge 207 and my 16th card for round 1 of the 100in100 challenge for 2014. I really like this sketch. I have several more cards planned with it. I love that it allows a lot of the paper to show so I can use papers that I don't want to cover up with a big image and/or sentiment.
I wanted a watermark pattern on the ecru square so I could stamp my sentiment over top of it without it competing with the sentiment. I grabbed my versamark pad and stamped away. My initial reaction was dismay. My versamark pad was "well loved" and rather than getting a nice watermark look, I ended up with a dirty image. In the end, I decided it looked enough like gray ink that I felt I could get away with it. But lesson learned: don't use a dirty versamark pad on light paper.

Don't worry, the dirty versa mark definitely works for your card, lol. I like the sketch, too. Must store it away for future use. Thanks for the inspiration!

Love the colors of this card. And such a beautiful CAS card. The added detail of the pattern stamped on the image block really makes all the difference. I would have never guessed you didn't intend for it to look like that. TFS
