I choose to use cold colors (blue) for the base of my card.
I cut out a triangle on the front of my card, paper pierced the pattern for my cross stitching, folded the cut out triangle over to the left corner and tucked it under the two slits.
I added a piece of white paper on the left inner side for some contrast.
Then I added the image from a decoupage sheet and punched out the ice crystals .

WOW, Niki...........the depth of field you achieved with your coloring of the beautiful snow people and the unique framing is FANTASTIC! Really a beautifully done card.

Niki, this is amazing. Your shading and coloring is fabulous, achieving so much dimension and depth. It definitely has a 3-d effect.and your snow people are adorable. TFS.
