This card is now in the hands of Lisa and John, the guests of honor at this weeks Teaparty. For their story and to play along visit MMTPT286: MMTPT286 ~January 21, 2014~ Heroes and Angels by momof5sons at Splitcoaststampers
I needed a lot of inspiration for this card, so thanks to Janelle and Audrie for your help!
The first design seed combination that I saw was a church and a palette that would work well for my theme: http://design-seeds.com/index.php/ho...tal-vacation33 I Inked the Christmas Angel in Versamark, Primrose, Coral and Pink, then used Q-tips to remove the ink over the trumpet part of the image. Stamped on Marina, then heat embossed with holographic EP. The multiple colors with the EP really give a holographic effect. (The EP part was inspired by Karen Barber and her travails with last weeks color challenge card) Matted the main image and debossed panel with Kioshi onto a plum panel. Fashioned the heart by gluing microbeads on the heart then when dry painting them with three shades of purple acrylic paint (lightened with white). PT - 1
Thanks Janelle, Audrie and Karen for helping me to bring this card to fruition. Thank you all for looking and have a peaceful day.

Marie this is truly beautiful. There is so much love and heart here, I am sure a few of the families tears will turn to smiles as they hold this in their hands.

This is so stunning. I love the layout, and your heart framed by the flowers is just so pretty. I was focusing so much on that I hadn't noticed the angel. She is gorgeous. A touching card for Lisa and John.
