To create my card I masked off the moon by punching a 1" circle from sticky note paper, then cut wavy pieces of paper and sponged on color for the snow and also sponged on the sky colors using Ranger Distress Ink: Tumbled Glass, Dusty Concord and Stormy Sky for both the snow and sky.
The tree and top layer of weeds were stamped on the cardstock while the mask was in place. I also did this procedure to add weeds to the insert and envelope.
I used a Signo white gel pen to add a little snow to the tree.
Some sponging was done over the moon with an almost dry sponge and I did this in a streaking motion across the moon shape.
The border was created using the Perfect Layers from Perfect Paper Crafting and an X-acto craft knife.
The snowflakes were glued in place with Aleene's tacky glue and for the small pieces I touch a stick pin to the glue then to the back of the flake and it picks it up, turn it over and place on the cardstock, press down with the finger and pull the pin away. The three large flakes and small circles are from Impression Obsession, the small flakes are from a Fiskars border punch.

What a lovely " blues " card! Your sponging and masking looks awesome! But the winter blues are endless. We had a wind storm yesterday and the roads are all like polished glass today!
