At last I've managed to turn out a card for Joan's Circle Flower TLC challenge on Monday. I did try a hexagon flower, and it was definitely WAY easier to fold the thirds, but I like the one made with punched circles better so I used that on my card.
A2 base.
White card embossed with a frame, and inside the frame cut out. I layered the lattice behind it, and behind that again is a piece of white card sponged with Shabby Shutters and then stamped with IO Greenery in Shabby Shutters. The flower is made from some old MME paper - it was single sided, so I sponged the back with purple, and added a brad in the centre to finish it off. HA sentiment, banner edged with a gold pen and a double seam-binding bow. The edge of the card is finished with a gold strip - hard to show in the lighting conditions.
Thanks for a fun challenge, Joan!!

Oh, my! That card is just beautiful! I love the contrast between the purple and orange sides of your flower paper, and the white frame and lattice set it off so beautifully.

This is so pretty! I love the BG showing through the cut out lattice! The colors in that flower really pop against the green and white!

Sabrina, this is beautiful! Your circle flower is perfectly done and I love the die cut with the pretty green paper peeking through. The foliage die cut makes a pretty addition and finishes off the look really well.
