I made the background using the smoosh technique that my friend Bonnie (bon2stamp) has listed on her blog. So fun - thanks Bonnie!!
I added some felt mittens (backed with white card stock for strength) to the background and stamped the sentiment in smoky slate ink. I decorated the mittens with small snowflakes and a strand of gray twine to define the cuff.

Gorgeous Loll. I love how your beautiful and shiny smooch technique BG and the warm felt mittens with the snowflakes. Love how you added the twine to define the cuff too. TFS my friend.

Love the blue mittens, needless to say! In fact, I'd happily own and wear them! And I love the background so must try Bonnie's smoosh technique. Into my favourites!

LOVE the idea of the mittens done in felt! GENIUS!!!! and the gray yarn for definition...more genius! Fabulous sparkly snowflakes on them...This is such a GREAT card!!!
