I was thrilled to be asked by Loll Thompson to join one of my very favorite CAS Challenges as the January Guest Designer.
The 1st challenge for the Addicted to CAS #29 Challenge, Codewordie Cuts was soooo much fun :-) How can you go wrong with Dies ?!? Loll is hosting this challenge and how fun that I got to use the Cheery Lynn Designs Wreath Strip Die that Loll gave me for Christmas :-) Thank you again my friend!
I love the technique of brayering ink onto EB folders, which adds even more texture. Even tho I used so many dies on my card it is still a CAS design. BTW, the "Thx" was die cut 3 x's to give it more dimension.
I am uploading my card early, but by midnight you will see the samples from the entire amazingly talented ATCAS Design Team. Kylie is the owner of the Blog and a wonderfully talented and fun Aussie stamper:-)
Thanks again Loll, Kylie and all the team for honoring me with a chance to play along for a month.
Happy New Year........Hugs, Nancy

Gorgeous card Nancy. I love the way you've inked the woodgrain for the background. Your clay pot looks aged ... so beautiful. Great job and thanks for being our Guest Designer at ATCAS for January, my friend!!

Hi Nancy - it's lovely having you on board as our GD for the start of 2014. I just love your card. You've achieved such gorgeous texture with the wood grain e/f and the leaves coming out of the pot; and love the "text speak" sentiment!

Congratulations, Nancy, on being a guest designer over at Addicted to CAS! Love your beautiful pot of branches - never thought of using the wreath pine branches that way!
