Trish gave us a list of the past Queens for 2013 and asked us to select one to honor again. I adore Jennifer's(mother's daughter) body of work and her attention to fine, fine detail. She is an inspiration to me with her craftsmanship and sense of design. I'm lucky enough to have several of her original cards.
Using this exquisite CARD with its intricate layers as inspiration, I did a MUCH easier version using one of my wrapping papers from this past Christmas as my base. Added a glittered, die cut pine and made a frame. It does not come close to Jennifer's original. : )
Jennifer, you are a beacon of exquisite workmanship. Congratulations, again...from me to you.

This is definitely a beauty in its own right! I really enjoyed the little story and then all the links that show how each maker was inspired by the other. Love that about this site! The glitter and white and aqua colours are wonderful in your card. TFS

Sallie, you are so right about Jennifer. Her cards are amazing, and the one you were inspired by is truly a work of art in itself! Beautifully embossed frame for these gorgeous sparkly deer and trees! Pretty bg paper....another work of art.....Sallie style! Hugs
