This is my card for the SCS Free for All F4A197 Challenge of "Let it SNOW!" where you need to make a card with snowflakes, snow-covered hills or ground ... or embellishment that make you think of snow. Please see this link for the details on the challenge: F4A197 - Let It SNOW! - 11/29/13 by Wendybell at Splitcoaststampers
I went for a very clean and simple card as the card needed to be flat and therefore mail-friendly.
The beautiful diecut snowflake is a die by Simon Says Stamp - Eliza Snowflake - and was diecut in my Big Shot using Aqua glitter cardstock. I glued the snowflake on using Tombow Mono Multi glue by painting on the glue using a very small paintbrush.
I added a strip of aqua cardstock at the top then border punched the white cardstock using an EK Success Scallop Diamond border punch. I added a strip of the aqua glitter cardstock under the white cardstock.
Even though the card it simple, it was a little fiddly gluing down the snowflake to get it centred and have all the snowflake points in just the right position. I made some pencil marks on my white cardstock to help me line up the snowflake as just plonking it down in hopefully the right place wasn't going to work.
Accessories: Big Shot, Simon Says Stamp Eliza Snowflake SSSD111308, EK Success Scallop Diamond border punch, Tombow Mono Multi glue, very small paintbrush, white cardstock

Clean and simple and simply gorgeous! Love, love, love your aqua glitter cardstock snowflake and matching borders. This is definitely when less is more.
