I decided to start working on my 2012 Photobook...... I know, I know..... I'm way behind. 2013 is almost over and we're ready to ring in the New Year 2014! But.... I'm determined to get caught up...... EVENTUALLY! =)
I was intrigued by the sketch and technique challenge on the MDS Monday Blog. Along with the sketch.... they asked us to convert one of our stamps to a punch. Clever -right? Well, you may view the challenge here on their blog -- As well as -- the link to the video tutorial on how to change your stamp brush sets to punches: http://mdsmonday.blogspot.com/2013/1...rd-sketch.html
I used the papers in the Elegant Soiree Designer Series Papers for my page. I decided to convert my "moments" stamp brush to a punch. This way it seems like the the year and words were just punched out of the 'soft suede' cardstock by seeing the background paper underneath! Cool!
You can see some wording going down the left side of my page (sort of off the paper).... well, don't worry. It's meant to be there. It's part of my cover page -- it'll show on the spine of my photobook when I'm complete!
Thanks for taking a peek!
