I started out making these 2 tags but by the time I finished I decided they will be tree ornaments. It would kill me to put them on gifts and have the recipient rip into their gift and throw the tags away with the paper LOL. Sometimes I tie these "tags" on the dresser pulls in the guestroom.
Pretty straight forward here. I cut the image and die cut the frame. The rest was just adding my roses and bought leaves. I make the roses by dying seam binding with sprays then either sewing the binding on a fabric circle in a spiral or placing the binding on a circle of sticky tape in a spiral.

Liz, these are stunning! I agree....they make beautiful ornaments and it would be a crime to have them land in the wrapping paper trash bag. I love the details you added!

What a gorgeous idea Liz! They are BEAUTIFUL and I totally agree ... some people don't realize the effort that goes into our special touches ... this way, as a tree ornament, they will be appreciated more and hopefully be loved year after year!
Sorry I'm late commenting, I've been sick in bed with a stomach virus since Saturday but thankfully, I'm on my way back to 'normal' now.
Thanks again for the idea and details.

Stunning! This definitely would only go on a present to someone who would treasure the time and love spent on creating this gem! I agree that its much better to use as an ornament.
