Audrie took us to Horchow's for inspiration. I found this wonderful winter painting and was immediately intrigued by the layers of paint. Those of you who know I am obsessed with layering lots of ink, understand why I HAD TO make this card. Hee! So ... I inked my stamp with two SU greens, misted it, stamped it, then stamped it again for my card. After it was dry, I added two Ranger di blue shades. I colored my trees w/three layers of PTI and Ranger ink. Went back to my bkgrd and added two layers of PTI ink. Inked edges w/one Ranger blue, then finished with one brown tone. I inked my mat panel w/Ranger di, then direct to edges w/SU sponge in darker shade of blue, finishing with brown tone. Arranged and adhered trees. Added sentiment. Added white Signo gel pen snow. Lots of work but I LOVE the way this card turned out. If I had the die (trees were a RAK), I would make a whole bunch for my winter cards that I send in January.
This card is also for yesterday's F4A calling for snow. It is also for the current SOS129:
