Yay - DH is having a well-deserved lie-in after working early and late all week, so I get to sneak a little me-time in before the business of the day.
It's ironic - Audrie said we could be inspired by either the holiday section of Horchow, or any of the regular ones. Well - the Noah's Ark ornament I spotted in the holiday section will help me replenish me supply of baby cards if I can find more time later, whereas this Arcadia Lap Throw in the bedding section took me straight to making a Christmas card. As soon as I saw it it reminded me of the Studio G background stamp that was part of a birthday or Christmas gift. I stamped it with Faded Jeans on white card, then stamped the snowman on that and on another scrap for piecing over the background. I also stamped the top half on a scrap of DP for piecing the hat and scarf. A little fussy cutting and he's done - Liquid Pearls on his hat. I tried adding a few pearls to the scroll design, but they came out too regimented looking so I settled for just adding two before the sentiment, and some score lines.
The colour cast is slightly off - early morning sunshine!! I'll fix it later when the light's better. My PSE fix looked worse.

I love the faded jeans ink!! That's quite a svelte snowman......obviously he didn't partake of a Thanksgiving feast!! What a cute guy he is, and I love this card made with him!

Hey neighbor in the gallery this morn! Great take on that striking graphic rug. I love the play of bold against the charm of the snow fella! Glad you got a chance to have some fun time, Sabrina.
