How much fun was this Teaparty. Gabby gave us a great story this week and I was so happy to read that Hazy and Lazy have settled into their new home in America. Hazy and Lazy, along with their new friends Holly and Lolly have enlisted all of us to help Marlene and Darlene at the Bakersville Cake Walk.
Cake baking is not my forte - actually cooking in any form is a challenge for me. I remember years ago after I cooked my first meal for DH, he went out the very next day and bought me a fire blanket and fire extinguisher for the kitchen!!!
I digress, about the card. I have paper crafted a triple layer cake, a BirdieBrown digi stamp is the main ingredients. Some of the layers are paper pieced, some are copics, Zig brushes and glitter. I had a bit of trouble with the Viva paper pen and attempted to fix it with liquid pearls. The cake was so big and heavy that wee Holly fell head over heals into the garden as she was walking into the bakery, you can see her little shoes amongst the long grass.
You can see young Lolly in the bakery proudly holding her cake. Lolly was a bit tall to fit on the second step, so I had to chop her feet off. I continued making the card but felt bad that I had discarded Lollys feet, that is when I decided invent the Holly falling over story and stuck the shoes in some grass.
The vine creeping through the old fence is a portion of a die cut tree that I tore trying to get it out of the die. The little sign is computer generated.
I wonder what country Holly and Lolly will end up living in...I love Tickle weeks. have a great week everyone.

Say it's not so!!!
But you can cook up a storm with paper, Susie, that's for sure. It's always a delight to see your cards each week and read your write-up and then find the details I might have missed - like the shoes . And recycling a torn tree for the greenery.

After drooling over your card I'm wondering how long it would take to move Australia closer to Ohio so I can come and sit at your craft table and watch you create one of these masterpieces???!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE it!!!

I don't know which is the better part, Susie, your fun stories of the creation of said card or the card, they are both right up there in being fun and fantastic! The adventures of Susie and her card making has people returning weekly to see where the adventure is going to take us next! I love both the story and the creation!

What a fabulous card! Love that cake and the oh-so-perfect pearls you used on that cake! The stories are a must read too! I too, would have missed the shoes in the grasses. This is another, fabulous work of art and a fun card for a teapotter to receive! Thanks for sharing your incredible work with us each week!

OMG, Susie, you've done it again!!! What a fantastic scene you have created and one pretty awesome decorated cake - I wouldn't have noticed the shoes, either, if I hadn't read your amusing story! One teapotter is going to be very lucky to receive this beauty!!
