This card is for the TLC456 Wreath Building challenge, and the Fan Club Monthly Christmas card challenge, which this month is to create a window scene. Well, through this window you see my Adorable grandson, Ike. The title of this card is Knock knock, who's there, he loves to play this with us, and comes up with the strangest who's there's. It was the DH's idea to put his school photo behind the window for the photo.
Now to the wreath, this wreath is made using wired ribbon. You take out the wire on one side, and gather the ribbon holding onto the wire on the other side. When you have the wreath the size you want, you twist the wire ends together with pliers, cut off most of the wire and tuck the rest under. I then cut a circle frame using say size 1 and 3 of the circle dies. This gives you a big enough area to work with. I adhered the ribbon to the c/s circle frame with a whip stitch. Of course I pierced the sewing holes before hand.
Now the DH said to leave this as it is, but my LSS owner/friend said it needs some green. At this point, I'm not adding anything.
The bow has a doubled bow part and all parts have been burnished so it's not flat.
