This week the tea party is headed to Hibbing, Minnesota to Peggy. Peggy is the mother of Foxy67's son's girlfriend. She has had a recent surgery and will be starting chemo & radiation soon.
The tale of Lake Wobegone is familiar with many. "It is said that the women are all strong, all the men are good looking, and all the children are above average." : )
I broke out my stamps and put this little scene together. I didn't have the loon, this is a digi from one of the coloring pages sites. I sponged the edges of the card and the sky. I will write some words of encouragement in the inside. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Oh my goodness Kathleen, I think I just found my new "happy place". This is like a mini work of art ready to be framed. As always, your colouring is out of this world.

This is indeed peaceful and very Minnesota. It's really hard to get the right scale when you combine a bunch of different stamps together to create a scene and yours is perfect.

Wow! This is the greatest!! A real lake, from the land-o-lakes! The perspective that you achieved with your scene is amazing...your loon in the foreground is perfect with the cattails, the deer and trees in the BG fit perfectly. Wonderfully done, Kathleen. Thanks for coming to Peggs Teaparty...Your loony card earned you some extra cookies - don't worry, those barns have been cleaned! Hugz from NJ!
