This week our cards are headed off the Louisiana and a woman that is just now starting chemo for Colon cancer. Heidi is grateful she doesn't have to work throughout this long treatment, but sure could you good thoughts and well wishes. In come the Teapotters.
This stamp is a beautiful tree tulip, otherwise known as the magnolia. It is embossed in silver and colored with Tombow markers. Silly me, I should have looked at what ribbon color represents colon cancer, it's dark blue. I'll have to do the insides in that color of ink.
Here's to hoping that Heidi gets lots of support for this journey she will be taking.

I love the way you coloured the beautiful flowers, Jennifer, as Susie said your card is elegant and peaceful, and the green bg looks fabulous with the scoring!

My favourite is the classic curved cup-shaped magnolia, but I love this one that looks a bit like the stellata with the wide-open blossoms.
And that fine stitching - wow!! At first I thought you had some fine wood veneer under the magnolia and then I took a closer look. It's fantastic!!
I tried doing a running stitch through all those tiny holes - and I was bummed to discover that there weren't enough holes to allow me an even number of stitches :-(.
We are always delighted to have volunteer hostesses for Tickle a Teapotter Tuesdays. All you need is an idea for a theme and a picture of a teapot to suit it.

I can't believe you used fine thread to go in and out of all those holes.......above and beyond the call!! WOW., and done so evenly. I am very impressed. Lovely card, but I am overwhelmed with the floss!
