Ok, this was my last card made and boy did it stump me! After poking around the mixed media challenge forum a bit, I found a technique I thought I could use. So.....I pulled from challenge MIX35 and glued a piece of crumpled tissue paper down to white card stock. After waiting a bare minimum of time to allow the glue to dry (not long enough!), I colored lightly over with watercolor pencils, wanting to create a night sky. Then I pulled out some red sticky stars to glitter them up in the night sky, which I think works for MIX40. Of course, I attempted to glitter up my stars prior to the glue drying completely, which is the reason for the blobbish area in the upper left corner. LOL!
Thanks for looking!

I actually like the look of your extra glitter, LOL. It adds very well to your night sky effect. Well done on your mixed media card - I know it's one many struggled with.
And gosh, that sentiment is a new one to me! Not in my collection of Irish blessings!
