This is my first paper mache project I ever did. I used a dollar store doll as my mold for my corset. I ripped up old pages from a book and "glued" the ripped pieces to the doll. I added glitter while it was still wet. I also used those same old book pages as her skirt layers. I added some tulle and lace to give more texture. I trimmed the corset with pearl trim and added ribbon straps. I also used ribbon to tie up the corset. I added Wild Orchid Crafts paper roses and some feathers to give a little bit of color. I made a hanger out of some wire so the ornament can hang.

very lovely! How did you get the corset part to come away from the doll since you glued the paper to the doll? These would make great First Christmas together ornaments!

Thank you very much!! I got the corset off the doll by wrapping it in plastic wrap first. I then just made a cut up the back and gently pryed it off. Worked like a charm!!
