A birthday card for my neighbour's 96th birthday today. She's a sharp as a tack, drives her own car, volunteers 2 days a week at a local school, and one morning at the hospital. She loves butterflies, so when I saw the following card Darlene's gallery, I knew just what I wanted to do! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
She used dp and added her butterflies to that. I also chose designer paper, but my paper was a sparkly flourish paper and stamped on that. I added turquoise stickles to the smaller butterflies. I stamped the butterflies on a piece of white cardstock with Bahama blue ink and added lavender stickles to the large butterflies and when dry, fussy cut them and adhered them to the butterfly stamping. The sentiment is on the inside 'Birthday Blessings'. The stickles meet this week's S2S13NN (Stamp 2 Spend) challenge to use stickles.

Aww! Beautiful card for a very special birthday! My MIL is almost 94 and still drives and lives alone in her own home. She volunteers a couple of times a week at the Seniors Centre! Aren't these older ladies amazing!! I love your card. TFS

What a pretty flock of butterflies! Your friend sounds awesome Ina! And you made an awesome card for her. My daughter would love this as she likes anything shiny and sparkly.
