Today the Teapotters are making cards for Pattyb, a fellow SC member, who recently lost her husband. Sheri, her friend and our TPT hostess, brought to our attention that she could use some caring thoughts right now. Blessings to her.
I am submitting this card for the SOS121 challenge, too. I used lace, ribbon and paper scraps from my stash.
I stamped my card with LKR Egyptian bkgrd, then SU French script, then topped it with MFT roses and leaves. Added a wide, scalloped floral lace and a smaller scalloped lace at the top, and a black bow. Punched a SU bird and several Martha Stewart fronds and arranged a little nest on a branch. Patty likes flowers and birds so I hope she will smile when she receives my card.
Thank YOU for looking!

So pretty Gabby! LOVE those gorgeous colors together! Your double lace used together looks beautiful! The black background and ribbon give it a bit of a dramatic feel, and so elegant! Love your birdie in the foliage, so sweet! All the right notes on this awesome card!

Wow Gabby this is wonderful. I love how the colours look so dramatic with the black layer and ribbon. The lace trim completes the beautiful card. Oh I nearly forgot the little bird...so sweet, your colouring looks like real feathers. Love it my friend.
