My card for my last week with the Color Challenge Girls,I was a little intimidated by these colors, Smoky Slate, Whisper White and Gumball Green (not a color I choose very often to use). The dessert option this week was to use the Chalboard Technique, I gave it a whirl, I also stepped outside my comfort zone and made a guy card, not easy for this flower loving stamper.
I have had so much fun guest designing this month, Thanks for having me and a special thanks to Karen B. for choosing me! It was definitely a "Joy Ride"!

this is a great chalkboard card Vicki-and I like how you carried the technique to the chevron embossed panel as well-the stamps you used on this one are so perfect for chalkboard stamping-it's been wonderful having you with us for Septmeber as a gdt Vicki-loved all your fab projects

Boy, all you girls are really inspiring me to try the chalkboard technique. Away babysitting our 4 yo GS, but when I get home to my stamping room......!
