MIX32-This week's challenge is to color an image (or a background), then take something away from it. I chose this polished stone technique because I like the feeling of looking through glass.
For this tag I covered 1 side of the clear recycled packaging material with alcohol inks. I then stamped a flourish in black archival ink on top of the polished stone. As soon as it was dry I buffed off all the black archival ink with a soft rag.
On a matching white tag I stamped the tree and bird images in black. Tape layers together and added punched leaf and pumpkin embellishments.
Mounted on black cardstock to add a small border. Added ribbons.
This technique is also fun on other clear objects like clear buttons, Tim Holtz's fragments or glass.

This is FABULOUS! I have never heard of this particular technique but the results are awesome!
