I've posted two cards in my gallery today - both are for two challenges
This one is for Friday's Mix-Ability Challenge - Drip, Drip, Drip where we were to drip water on our cards after inking or coloring - as well as for Friday's Free For All - to use the primary colors of red, yellow and blue.
My grandnephew is going to be starting pre-school one day a week in September - so I thought he would like a card commemorating the event!
I sponged red, yellow and blue distress inks onto the white panel - then I dropped drops of water using an eyedropper onto the panel - I wanted just drops and not long drips - so I put a paper towel over the panel and pressed down to absorb the excess water.
After the panel dried - I helped it a with my heat gun - I adhered the cut out photo to the panel with foam dots and used my Brother P-Touch label maker to make the sentiment. I framed the panel in black and then layered it onto my white card.
I think Landon will be happy seeing himself on this card! I hope he is just as happy the first day of school!

What a wonderful card! I'm betting he will love it - and I hope Mom puts it away to give to him when he graduates high school!
