Fun time with MIX29, even with the sewing! LOL This week was Crack and Stitch hosted by Scrapcat.
Hey, I kinda like how this one turned out! There is a panel of DP with red and yellow apples. Then there is some white and yellow acrylic paint. I used the wonderful chicken wire stencil given to me by Nancy (Stiz2003) Thank you so much!!! Then I added some ink right to the stencil and the lower have is the stencil used as a stamp. Then I added some olive glitter glue on top of the white. So all the white really shimmers in the light.
Next I took a cotton ball and added some purple ink. The kinda cool thing, some of the glitter grabbed some of the cotton fibers! Then I stamped my sentiment with Versafine and below with Memento London Fog. Stamped the tree with staz-on and filled with a little marker. Lastly I did my faux stitching. Still can't sew a straight line, but no worries! Thanks for a FUN one!!!

This is awesome!! Love that blend of colors and hints of texture! It has such a "free" feeling to it! What a beautiful work of art! Sorry I missed that challenge but I know I have to put is on my "to do list".

Thank goodness for Favs of the Week otherwise I might have missed this. Wow, wow, wow, Kathleen your style is so versatile. This is incredibly wonderful. I love the colours, the images and the creative way you used the chicken wire stencil. I am still shaking my head at using a cotton ball....how did you ever come up with that. Love it all my friend!!
