I saw Janette's sketch today and just had to play. I flipped the sketch so I could use a bigger image. Since the jar and lilacs were so big, I struggled a bit.
Note to self.... use images similar in size to the panels of the sketch.
I colored the lilacs with Copics and hand cut them, stamped the jar image on card stock and Acetate, and die cut them both. I drew the stems in and colored them on the card stock layer, then adhered the acetate die cut over top to make the jar look like it was glass and was full with water. Since some of my copics are running out of ink, it kind of made the jar look more like water...kind of a neat affect.
The panel behind the image is created with a spellbinders lattice die. The Dp is from My Mind's Eye.
Thanks for looking!!

Lovely card with the sketch, Chris. Your coloring of the Mason jar filled with lilacs is so beautifully done and the trellis die cut bg makes a pretty backdrop.
