I had to do a second card for this week's QFTD after seeing this card by Jennifer (mother's daughter). I added candles to the poinsettia - the candles were just strips of vanilla cs, and cut at a wavy angle (if there is such a thing, lol!); the flames were actually leaves from a MS punch, cut from a yellow piece of cs, then inked with Fired Brick. The music sheet embossing folder is from Tim Holtz, then inked with yellow for the candle's glow, and the rest with tea dye. The sentiment is printed using Bickhamscript Fancy font.
Thank you for the inspiration, Jennifer, I think I'll be making more of these for our Christmas cards - and I hope I can get red suede paper next time so that my poinsettia can be as life-like as yours! I also wonder if the beadz that Jennifer used for the poinsettia's centers are still available, I gotta have them!

I love your version of Christmas poinsettia! The musical bg is perfect and the candles with leaves as the flame is creative! Beautiful! I may just have to case you! Now, if you have a Joann's nearby, they carry the suede paper. If you have a Michaels nearby, they may have the micro beadz, look in the MS stuff.
